Yes, it’s officially the holiday season now that most of you have over-indulged yesterday for Thanksgiving.
Let’s get you back on track!
It’s easier to maintain weight than it is to lose weight so don’t go into the holiday season thinking that it’s ok or normal to gain weight from now until New Year’s Eve, then make resolutions to lose all the weight.
Do it the right way…
maintain your weight now and if you have extra weight you want to lose, then fine do that gradually now or after the holidays (if you must indulge) but don’t gain additional weight making it even harder after the holidays.
First, stop beating yourself up and get over it.
What you did yesterday is in the past…moving on…
Today, eat properly (right amounts of healthy foods)
No gorging on all the left overs from Thanksgiving.
Add an extra work out, exercise day.
If you normally work out 3 days a week, add an extra day.
If you normally don’t exercise at all…get moving!
Aim to walk (or anything that gets your actively moving) for at least 5 minutes, 3 times a day to start.
While that’s a small start, any amount of physical movement adds up to calories burned.
You can build from there!
Be consistent!
Don’t get stressed!
Stress less so you don’t gain weight.
Get enough sleep!
Do you get enough sleep?
Write down what you’re eating and drinking.
It really does help you see where, when and what all you’re consuming!
Plus, you’ll not want to over eat if you have to be accountable to a food journal.
Plan what parties and events you’re going to attend.
While there, eat in moderation and only foods you really want.
Limit alcohol or better yet, refrain!
A lot of empty calories come from alcoholic drinks.
Which is more important? That drink or your health & body?
Drink water!

Eat S.L.O.W.L.Y
The slower you eat the less you’ll eat.
Stay focused
Remember your goal and what’s important!
If you need help, hire a coach to help you stay on track, guide you and be there for you!
