Simply put sometimes you just need to take a break.
Seems so easy.
Yet so difficult – for me at least – to actually do.
I feel like I must constantly be doing something, all the time.
However, last night that came to a grinding halt!
After dealing with pain for hours I finally said the heck with it and crawled into bed.
According to 2010dcc.com, wellness includes so many aspects just not a physical well being but our overall health, fitness levels, mental wellness and physical wellness.
I’ve been running on fumes for awhile now and apparently yesterday was the breaking point.
I slept (though restlessly) and awoke feeling somewhat better…
meaning the migraine and throbbing protruding temple veins were tolerable and the other pain I have was bearable as well, I definitely have to contact Dr Bardwil vein specialist to make sure everything is ok.
I went ahead and ran for 30 minutes since I’ll be running the Color Me Rad 5K in October and need to/want to improve my speed a lot.
I have some things going on that I’m coming to terms with not crying hysterically over at least today anyhow.
I have some major fitness & physical goals I want to reach.
Overall I’m healthy and well other than the above mentioned things so I’m starting to accept the fact that there will be times when I just need to take a break and renew, regroup, rejuvenate and refocus.
So, today I’ve been offline (til now) and once I hit publish I’ll be off again doing a few small things that need to be done and then I’ll be vegging to Captain America (Chris Evans) or perhaps I’ll just stick with my fail safe Supernatural to escape & relax to.

Question of the day
Do you take breaks?
What does wellness mean to you?

I think a day off (or 2) is healthy. I think wellness is mental as much as physical. Enjoy your day off!

Tara – I definitely think one needs to listen to the bod & mind That does not mean making excuses but we all can get to the point of understanding when we just need a chill out or plain veg out day – HUGS!
