The topic for today: Intuitive Eating also known as non-dieting, conscious eating, mindful eating, wisdom eating.
It means when you’re in tune with your body’s natural hunger signals rather than eating by emotional, stress.
Ultimately eating this way creates a healthy relationship with mind, body and food.
We were intended to have good relationship with our food and not be obsessed with fat content or calorie content, etc.
We’re supposed to enjoy food, use it for nourishment…not hate it or fear it.
Listen to your body, what it truly desires in food along with and paying attention to real hunger and fullness.
You can and should make food choices based on these factors, rather than fat free, poison filled sugar free choices or other restrictive choices opposed to what your body genuinely desires and needs.
This can be liberating and overwhelming all at the same time.
I’d strongly suggest hiring a coach to assist you or doing more research and having a solid support system.
