A goal should:
be achievable.
though it shouldn’t be too easy to achieve.
be measurable.
On a recent push up challenge I had all 3 of those attributes.
It was achievable and not overly easily and measurable since every day I hit the mark and exceeded it on some days and there was an actual count to it.
Now, I’m setting new goals!
What goals do you need to set?
Do you want to lose 5 pounds by Memorial Day?
Do you want to quit eating junk food?
Do you want to eat healthier foods?
Do you want to run faster?
Do you want to lift more weights?
Do you want to increase your income?
Do you want to get out of debt?
Goals are dreams with deadlines.

To set your goals:
Be positive about them (I will be fit and in shape, I am debt free– you get the idea?)
Make your goals personal. They are your goals, not someone else’s goals. You are in control, not somebody else.
Be realistic (mentioned above about being achievable but not too easy, that would also include not too difficult too–example: if you’ve never run before setting a goal to run a marathon next month may not be considered achievable so set goals that are attainable with effort and within the realistic realm).
Be emotion filled – your goals should evoke emotion and a strong desire to achieve the goal.
Be determined and you can achieve your goals!
