This evening’s bike ride wasn’t as focused as others I’ve had recently.
I was watching Food Matters on Netflix, and flipping through magazines while riding.
So, obviously you can see my attention wasn’t on my bike.
With that said though, I still didn’t do too badly.
In fact, not that much of a difference of when I’m focused on the ride….
which means I need to work harder!
The other day I did a 75 minute bike ride, burning 893 calories which basically amounts to an average of 11.906 calories per minute.
This evenings ride was for 65 minutes, burning 752 calories-averaging 11.569 calories per minute.
That’s only a difference of .337 per minute.
There should be a bigger difference when I’m focused and when I’m not.
So, I need to get serious and really get into it when I’m just riding and see what I can really do!
Do you find yourself slacking at times?
Do you chart your workouts/training sessions?
Do you pay attention to how many calories you burn during a workout?
