www.bamboobottleco.com sent me one of their sustainable bamboo bottles to use and review.
It’s an impressively designed bottle that’s for sure!
It’s a sturdy solid design and I, of course, prefer sustainable eco-friendly products over mainstream items.
Though it’s a bit heavy to use for when running or working out because while the outside is bamboo, it does have a glass bottle insert.
I used it at the pool…
which was fine for a few hours
(the 90 degree weather was a bit much to keep my water really really cold)
I think this bottle is best for indoor use and helping you make sure you drink your water daily.
I love the appearance of it and I adore bamboo.
You can learn more about each component of the bottle by reading here…
it explains more about bamboo, and the other components.
It also comes apart for easy cleaning.
The bamboo shouldn’t get soaking wet, so they’ve made it where you simply unscrew the plastic nut and the glass bottle insert easily comes out to clean.
About the bottle:
Sustainable sipping is simple when you choose the convenient and stylish Bamboo Flip Top. Made from the practically inexhaustible resources of bamboo and glass, this bottle eliminates the need to unscrew a cap to sip because it features a quick-release flip top spout that allows you to hydrate on the go. Refresh yourself and the planet faster with the stylish Bamboo Flip Top. Features: Made of glass, bamboo, and plastic. Easy-to-use plastic flip top. Free of BPA and chemicals. Safe for drinking hot and cold liquids. Easily disassembled. Dishwasher-safe. Volume: 17 fluid oz. Dimensions: 3″ x 10″.

in the time most people run a 5K, a bamboo shoot can grow an inch. In the time it takes to hike up and down a 4000-footer, it can grow a foot. And bamboo has a higher tensile strength than many alloys of steel. Very cool!

I learned that harvesting of bamboo minimally impacts the wildlife, compared to hardwood “logging,” where big machinery tears the land apart.
