What a crazy busy week…
Here’s my workout recap:
Monday: yoga, pushups, lunges, bike for 45 mins
Tuesday: yoga, treadmill run-35 mins, bike 50 mins, weights/arms
Wednesday: treadmill run-30 mins, yoga, bike 50 mins, pushups
Thursday: yoga, bike 50 mins
Friday: treadmill run 32 mins, bike 50, yoga, pushups, squats, burpees
Saturday: Worked outside at golf course all day and yes that’s a workout considering I have to lug out the hot dog cart, all supplies etc when it’s 90 degrees! Then followed up a day doing that with an evening doing the same thing at a private party.
Sunday: Worked outside at golf course — again repeat of yesterday…lugging out big charcoal grill, hot dog cart, all supplies and working in 90+ degree weather for 7 hours
The only downside of working golf course…
I went from one tan line to now having to alternate types of tank tops I wear so I don’t get funky whacky tan lines that stay!
Yesterdays were thick straps
Today..criss cross
Tomorrow, I’ll have to find a different style to get rid of these tan lines!
and if anyone so much as mentions harms of tanning or anything remotely related be forewarned that I have a whole blog post coming up soon about tanning, etc…
Now for a quick public service announcement…
Listen to your body
I had all intentions on coming home from work today, hanging out with Christa, posting this post, cleaning, doing laundry, and some other work.
In reality this is what happened…
YES, I Tara Burner, did in fact take a 30 min nap!!!
I was beat and my body was not going to go any further.
I was physically sick to my stomach, shaky and just felt like I’d been hit by a truck.
So, instead of doing what I normally would do and push through that
I took a nap!
And, obviously I feel better now since I’m typing this.
Think it was from combination of not eating and the heat, etc.
I did drink 2 water, gatorade and oj while at work but I only had a bowl of cereal at 545 a.m.
I’m thinking I should probably bring some fruit with me to work!
So there you have it…listen to your body
If it’s saying rest then REST!
And now for the exciting stuff…
I did go back as a Team Beachbody Coach and…
As soon as my order gets to me I’ll be starting the Ultimate Reset
And, now I can try the newest edition to the Shakeology line… Strawberry (and it’s vegan too!)
So watch for some great workouts, Shakeology recipes and other goodies coming up!
On a side note, because I did take a nap and am working tomorrow at the golf course as well (kids tournament is taking place, with help from the kids birthday parties in Riverside team at http://www.jumpersjungle.com/riverside/) a few of the product reviews that I had planned on being up this weekend, will be up Tuesday-Thursday. So watch for those because they’re some great products!!!
And, now I’m going to hit publish and go make dinner for Christa & I and veg for a bit with her!
