Last Monday I started my juice fast.
Weighing in at 159.8 and feeling like crap.
A week later, I’m 150.6 (another 25 pounds to go until I hit goal weight and NO I am not juicing to lose weight though it is an added benefit) and mentally & physically feeling better.
I spent the weekend working and organizing/cleaning.
It felt great to not only clean out my body but some clutter in the condo here as well.
I spent time in prayer, yoga, biking, helping my daughter with homework, watching The Help (awesome movie) and just letting life happen.
I’m not ready to transition off the juice fasting quite yet.
As mentioned before, I would do this until my body & mind said otherwise.
I’ve been enjoying some new juice combinations and some have asked for juice recipes.
I don’t do recipes, I kinda just throw stuff in my juicer and wing it.
I will admit though, I am NOT into adding greens to my juice (though I put in a minimal amount of kale, spinach or celery on occasion–after bad experiences with wheat grass & spirinella I just cannot stomach it).
Here are some juice recipes though that others have said are great!
Give them a try or design your own…
either way, juicing has lots of benefits.

Some of those recipes sound awesome. I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit that not only do I not have a juicer, I don’t even have a blender LOL!

My juicer is at least 14? yrs old if not older…
so no reason to be embarrassed
I love the part where you got to spend time with your daughter this weekend. OF COURSE she appreciated your help with homework. Maybe not in this decade, but next…. Really!
