Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. ~Jim Rohn It takes discipline to exercise regularly. It requires discipline to improve your lifestyle habits-eating healthier, quit smoking, over-indulging in alcohol, etc. You each have that strength... somewhere within you... but it is there. Find it and use it! If you can't find the strength or … [Read more...] about Discipline & Strength

30 Day Challenge
Wow what timing! My friend Lisa Johnson is doing a 30 Day Challenge. Earlier I had posted about my doing RevAbs & crunches in order to get my abs back! And, prior to that I had blogged about getting serious about my work outs again and even laced up my running shoes again. So for me to see her Tweet about a challenge was perfect timing! In addition to … [Read more...] about 30 Day Challenge

Laced up the running shoes
Well this morning I laced up my old running shoes, like I said I would. I kinda jog/ran/walked/sprinted the 2.56 miles but I did it! Now, I have no problems walking for miles, miles and hours on end. I love to walk, check out different things around me and just enjoy 'getting away'. Running is totally different. Flashback to 30 years ago (yep, that long ago!) I … [Read more...] about Laced up the running shoes

Tell us what you stand for? who are you?

I've spent the last few days discovering new things, meeting new people... seeing that we all are connected and yet doing our own separate things. Opening & Closing Doors-Being yourself
Earlier this week I posted a note on Facebook but thought I'd put it here as well. One of the comments left on the note was from Diane Cunningham and said "Great job on this Tara! I support you completely.....go where God leads! He will close some doors and open others! Amen to following and listening." Teri Undreiner said, "Wonderful Tara! I noticed that I usually did … [Read more...] about Opening & Closing Doors-Being yourself

Day 30 of 31 Days of Gratitude
Today’s day 30 of 31 Days of Gratitude. I'm grateful for time spent 'escaping' to the beach. While that may not sound like something huge to be grateful for, I am. Just because I live in South Florida, doesn't mean I have the ability or opportunity to go to the beach often. It's a hassle and takes time to drive there....it's not as simple as walking out my door onto the … [Read more...] about Day 30 of 31 Days of Gratitude
