There is more to life than increasing its speed. ~Mohandas K. Gandhi
Everyone is always in such a rush…
overbooked daily schedules, activities, family obligations, social life.
It’s as if people try to jam 36 hours of stuff into a 24 hr period.
Constantly on the go-somehow believing that they have a fulfilled life by doing so.
I mean, hey if you always have something to do, you must be important or popular.
Take some time and plant your feet and simply enjoy standing still for awhile…absorbing life’s blessings and what’s going on around you.
“Always remember to slow down in life; live, breathe, and learn; take a look around you whenever you have time and never forget everything and every person that has the least place within your heart.” ~~ Author Unknown
Things to do enjoy and help slow down the fast pace:
Get a massage, meditate, volunteer your time to an organization where you can make a life long difference in someone’s life, travel, spend time with your family just ‘being’ and not necessarily filling an entire weekend with “on the go activities”.
“Slow down and enjoy life. It’s not only the scenery you miss by going to fast – you also miss the sense of where you are going and why.” ~~ Eddie Cantor
Make memories and take the time to truly enjoy what you’re doing rather than rushing through life.
Like they say, take time to smell the roses!
