Yep, I lost HOPE…again.
(one disadvantage of losing weight…your rings are all too big and nobody wants to resize them because they’re afraid they’ll destroy them so you wear them big and keep having them fall off)
I didn’t blog last time I lost hope…
I tweeted about it but then found hope the next day…
Not this time…
🙁
(if you haven’t read the story of my rings, you can about it here and also the earlier post when I lost BELIEVE here –
Now, I probably wouldn’t be devastated heart broken had I not just finally figured out what I wanted on the other 2 rings (and yes I am in fact putting a ring on the left hand ring finger– compliments of Cherry and Evelyn Ballin of The Heart Painter and I discussing options the other day)
I need to replace HOPE before I can get the other 2 and right now that’s not an option.
But more so, I need my reminder…
Yes, I know I have hope.
But often times I admit it, I need to look down and focus on it.
HOPE
the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best
a particular instance of this feeling
Each ring means something to me.
Right now I really need HOPE.
And, in the material sense my hope is misplaced.
Meanwhile if you search hope in the Bible (ok so online at openbible)
these are the top 3 verses:
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Romans 12:12 ESV
–hmmmmmmm guess I fall short in the constant in prayer section…I’ve been semi-patient but would really love for the tribulation to at least ease up!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Romans 15:13 ESV
–I want to abound!
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 ESV
–Would love to know the plans He has.
Moving on…
It’s mindboggling that school starts in a week…back to high school for Christa.
Back to the early morning drop offs and afternoon pick up lines for me.
Where did summer go?
We went nowhere, did nothing 🙁
Meanwhile, you still have a few more days left to enter the Chobani giveaway and win yourself some yummmy Chobani yogurt.
This past week has been an eye-opening one…
Suffered disappointment – got over it, moved on…
Yes, purging and cleansing is always a good thing!
Especially when it’s people, things, etc. that are time wasters and users.
Then…
I managed to last from December til now without injury to my back.
At least this time I won’t give myself frostbite, like last time.
(still have the scars from then too!)
Instead…I’ll spend time on the yoga mat and stretching…
and ignoring the constant throbbing pain running from my lower back down into my right leg.
Friday, I took Christa & her friends to the mall.
I watched Hope Springs (easy way to blow 2 hours when you’re at the mall for 6-7!)
I went because Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones and Steve Carell where in it.
Had it not been for that, I wouldn’t have seen it.
Had it not been for that, the movie would’ve totally bit.
I, of course, was waiting for Steve Carell to come out with some one liners, but he didn’t. I’m not used to seeing him in a serious role.
Tommy Lee Jones…hmmmmm I guess I’ll have to go see him in Black in Black III to enjoy him more.
And Meryl Streep…well she’s always good.
All in all it was ok
It kept me out of the crowded mall for 2 hours so that was good.
Joann and I have been working on more clients blog transfers via TarasWeb and love seeing all the fitness bloggers get moved over from blogger and WP into their own self hosted, custom blogs!
As far as workouts this week…
lots of push ups, plank, and bike rides.
Bike rides watching Supernatural is the best way to go!
Get in multiple episodes via Netflix while pedaling and sweating to Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki…
What better way to get a workout in!
and a total disconnect is always good too.
So, there you have it…last week.
Now, who knows what’s in store for this week…
Question of the day
How was your week? weekend?
