I love my Scion XB.
Apparent by the countless tweets and posts.
I had the original toaster XB when they came out.
I went through other vehicles.
I went back to Scion XB.
Bought current 2009 XB in October of 2008 (yes for those who don’t know about cars, the models for new year come out in Sept/Oct and the all car leasing is becoming more and more popular every day)
Hypnotic Teal in color.
I.love.my.box.
It’s the only car I’ve had that can withstand my driving.
Withstand the loads I put in it…
It’s been loaded with plywood, roof tiles, bags of cement, dogs (doberman, bichon, chihuahuas), goodness knows what all.
3 years ago I traveled far and fast, even sleeping in XB
It was dent free, spotless until October 1, 2010
when an igit incompetent woman driver literally ran right into the drivers side of my car while I was parked at a stop sign!
Needless to say she would not get out of her car.
The public service aide who came to scene was afraid to get out of her car!
This the day before I was flying to PA without telling anyone to make sure my brother was ok in hospital after crashing his motorcycle, I told him it was better to go to the Quick Stop Urgent Care in Los Angeles next time.
So, to say I was a bit wired was an understatement.
Thankfully, the woman had i4mt insurance and I got XB fixed like new.
Then summer of 2011 and assbutt neighbors who can’t park their stupid mom minivan and keep banging up the passenger side.
In March, it was Lima Beans vs Scion in a bet.
We’ve had fun together…
It’s been the source of tweets about igit drivers who think they can out drive XB.

Even while writing this post and taking a two second break to check Facebook there’s a friend of mine posting about Scion!
Everyone knows I.love.Scion.and.will.defend.Scion.
I will not post a pic (though I have one) of the 2nd top speed I’ve had XB
but, it was on US 27 where it’s wide open road and I’ll leave it at that.
I’m not a dumb teenager who posts incriminating video of my speeding!
Happy tweets from just days ago:
Then last night.
I.cried.
I.got.pissed.off.
This morning I called them about the security gate.
Was told that the signs basically say enter at own risk and they’re not responsible.
I will leave out the rest of my conversation with the woman because I’m sure you can imagine how it went before I hung up on her.
I.am.pissed.
XB.is.still.injured.
I.still.love.Scion.
I.still.hate.associations!
I.will.be.strong.
XB.will.get.fixed.
I.will.still.make.video.of.XB.slightly.flawed.or.not.
I.am.still.pissed.though.
Question of the day
Are you obsessive with your vehicle(s)
Dave says
You do love your Scion. It does fit your personality it seems. Hopefully you can get the mirror fixed soon, that sucks the place won’t take responsibility.
Lee says
Your tweets always make me smile
Your always looking happy in them sorry your sad now
joann says
Enter at your own risk? Are you serious?
That sounds like a call to channel 7!
joann says
Enter at your own risk:
Cuz you might get killed if you drive on the property.
Cuz you might get killed if you walk on the property.
Cuz there might be things living in your attic.
Cuz we don’t buy enough insurance to cover things like this.
On.A.Roll.

Glad someone else is as obsessed with their car as I am with mine. I LOVE my Chevy Aveo =)
Tara Burner says
LOL Heidi, yes.
I.am.obsessed.with.my.car
This is the first one since my custom truck I had waaaaaaaaaay back in 90? that I adore and truly love!
We took the mirror off this morning, attempting to fix since it retails for $395, wholesale is $245 and I don’t have that kind of coinage at the moment
