hmmmmm I few minutes ago I tweeted that I thought I may be gluten intolerant
BUT, now in thinking more not sure that’s the case.
Could it be gluten? wheat? or even sugar?

Originally, I thought it was the chocolate that was giving me migraine and making me feel odd.
But, I didn’t have any of that and yet did have piece of cake yesterday to which I instantly felt lousy.
I brushed it off to stress and went on about my way.
Today, I had strawberries and cherries for breakfast…no problem
Lunch…hmmm did I have lunch? I don’t think so
Dinner… I had a glass of Uncle Matt’s Organic OJ and a rice cake with Smart Balance Peanut butter on it.
Followed by a slice of the pound cake from yesterday
Within a few minutes of eating the cake, instant migraine and feeling all fluttery and blah
Which leaves only two things in common….white sugar and white flour.
Either one could be the cause of migraines and funkiness I’m feeling.
However, I just realized I can eat all of the Uncle Sam Cereal from Attune Foods which is made with whole wheat berry flakes.
So, I don’t think it’s a wheat thing or a gluten thing…perhaps a sugar thing?
I’m not up on gluten information, etc. and honestly my head hurts too much to go researching it right now.
I’d say it was stress related but it only happened after I ate the cake and brownies and yet I can eat anything else and I’m fine.
and, no I do not go to dr’s so this will be a self diagnosis and I’ll just go back to my good fruit, veggies, nuts and other stuff I know doesn’t give me migraines, other symptoms and when I feel better I think I’ll learn more on gluten intolerance, wheat intolerance and celiac disease since I know next to zero on these topics and would come in handy for clients of mine anyhow!
Normally a clean eater, the last few weeks I’ve indulged and well I’m going to listen to my body and stay clean and sure I’ll feel 100% better!
Are you gluten, wheat intolerant? sensitive to sugar? sensitive to chocolate?

I went GF 17 years ago on my own…in a series of eliminations to try and figure out what the HECK was making me sick.
Im so grateful now that we know so much more Tara.

Thanx Carla, I’m thinking it was just a combo of sugar, flour, etc….been eating clean for loooooooooooooooooooong time then all sudden had cravings for brownies, cake and now my body’s paying for it!
