I’ve been tweeting prior to getting this review up about the Keen Women’s Trail Shoes from PlanetShoes.com.

I was thrilled to see this box in my daily deliveries!
I knew and anticipated what was inside this box….

My River Blue & Mimosa Keen A86 Trail Shoes!

I am lovin these Keen shoes!
It’s the perfect minimalist shoe.
Lightweight, (they weigh in at just 8 ounces!) fits comfortably and you seriously don’t feel like you’re wearing shoes.
Besides wearing these on the trail, they’re ideal for every day wear too.

The A86 features compression molded PU midsole along with multi-directional lugs to provide feet comfort and a foot hugging fit.
The lacing system on the Keen A86’s is set about an inch down on the instep from other shoes.
This helps with alleviating pressure.
I always had issues with pressure points that normal lacing contributed to.

Keen A86 Women’s Barefoot Trail Shoes were awarded the Trail Runner Editor’s Choice Minimalist Award.

These shoes are sleek, bold and contemporary, breathable while giving great performance and protection.
They have excellent dry trail traction, in light mud they did well too.
I can barely tell I’m wearing shoes when I have the Keen A86’s on.
