By now I'm sure pretty most everyone has heard about Twilight. You know the books and the movie that everyone's either raving about or ragging about. It's an action packed modern teen love story between a teen girl and a vampire. Now, that's why I'm writing this...as usual there are some who are offended or strongly opposed to letting their children read the books or watch … [Read more...] about Twilight: my thoughts on the movie

Shy? or Smart? what do you think?
I know weird title but it's what's on my mind. Today while standing in line at the Post Office I got to witness a sadly common practice amongst parents and strangers. I've seen this happen on more than one occasion, yet every time it occurs I stand dumbfounded... okay, sometimes I open my mouth and make a comment, other times I stand in disbelief. I remember being taught … [Read more...] about Shy? or Smart? what do you think?

We bought 2 air plant displays...their site … [Read more...] about Pines Arts & Crafts Festival

Faith & Being Content
Philippians 4:10-14 10 How I praise the Lord that you are concerned about me again. Car accidents & responsibility
Whatever happened to responsibility, accountability, honesty and common sense? What would you do if you hit someone's parked car in a parking lot? Would you check to see if you damaged it? Know what’s going on
This should be pretty obvious and should go without saying, yet... here I am saying it... When you're in business (be it as owner or as a consultant, distributor, rep, whatever...), know what's going on in your business! I'm not sure how people think they'll succeed or make money if they're totally oblivious or clueless as to what's going on within their company. This … [Read more...] about Know what’s going on
Purses and Checkouts
Okay, I just got back in from the store and I suppose today was just one of those days where I really really do not comprehend certain things about people. Usually going to any store can be a bit of chaos for me anyhow because of sensory overload -- people's perfumes, chemical smells, noise, people in my 'personal space' then through in the people who hit you with their cart, … [Read more...] about Purses and Checkouts
