How would you feel opening a box and finding all these goodies?
Somersault Snack Co was founded in Sausalito, CA by a team of healthy food‐loving entrepreneurs inspired to bring seed snacks to active families.
Their mission is to create simple, nourishing, scrumptious snacks that authentically inspire a moment of fun in every day. (I think they’ve succeeded there!)
They’re on a journey to help build a healthier America where we can learn, nourish and play together daily!
They offer a 5 unique flavors of nutritious yummy sunflower seed snacks.
Sunflower seeds, the #1 ingredient, are the inspiration behind their scrumptious little nuggets.
You can see the goodness in these!
Check out these outstanding facts about Somersaults:
As much protein as almonds but with just 1/2 the fat
A good source of fiber and vitamin E
Nut-free nutrition with fewer calories and all of the crunch!
What are Somersaults made of?
• Sunflower seeds are the #1 ingredient, offering a good source of vitamin E, antioxidants and potassium
• Also baked with sesame seeds, toasted grains and spices
• All natural, no preservatives, no GMOs, no trans fats
These are great for when you’re on the go, throw in a lunch…easy convenient sized packages for active lifestyles.
Click the chart to see up close how Somersaults compare with other snacks.
My favorite out of the 5 was the Santa Fe Salsa.
Toasted sunflower seeds and grains baked with chili pepper, cilantro, a touch of jalapeno and a dash of lime give this nugget a delicious zesty bite.
These were loaded with flavor and yet not overwhelming where you couldn’t still taste the natural flavors of the sunflower seeds.
Next up for me were the Salty Pepper ones.
Tasty with a touch of garlic and onion to boot!
Craving chocolate? Try the Cocoa snacks!
Crunchy goodness with sunflower seeds, toasted grains and cocoa.
Fewer carbs and 82% less sugar than a low fat yogurt!
The Pacific Sea Salt ones are yummy as well.
The touch of sea salt on these crunchy nuggets is sourced right here in our own backyard, the San Francisco Bay, and highlights the nutty taste of sunflower and sesame seeds.

I love that the product is nut free! With a peanut allergic son, it’s always nice to find a snack that has protein and isn’t a nut!
