I received River Veda Rejuvenate Heavenly Words Organic Lip Balm and River Veda Everyday Evening Primrose Organic Moisturizer to review.
Features of the lip balm
It’s certified organic…made with ingredients that are sourced from organic and biodynamic farms.
Though I find this a bit misleading since only 41.6% of the total ingredients are from organic farming, yet 100% are of natural origin.
Cruelty free.
A key ingredient is Beeswax, which not only increases the skin’s essential moisture, but also acts as a UV inhibitor and skin conditioner.
The herb Calendula helps to nourish the skin and aids in healing inflammations and minor skin problems.
Offering daily protection, the Heavenly Words Lip Balm softens and shields lips from the natural effects of sun, wind and temperature extremes.
While this product is organic, I wasn’t overly thrilled with it.
It may just be the heat in South Florida, but it oozed/leaked from the container so I had oils wherever I laid the container.
(Not a huge minus but if you live in the heat you’ll want to take note of possible oils leaking from container opening)
It goes on easily but yet feels greasy and grainy at times.
It’s packaging isn’t exactly the easiest or neatest either.
It comes in a metal tube so you have to push/squeeze it out and can get a bit messy.
I may just be real picky when it comes to things being easy and clean…
The moisturizer smelled great…primrose and ylang ylang.

Certified organic. Ingredients are sourced from organic and biodynamic farms.
Again with the misleading aspect of certified organic, which is why consumers need to read…because they don’t claim to be 100% organic…just Certified.
The moisturizer ingredients are 99.3% from natural origin, while only 34.15% from organic farming.
I normally don’t use moisturizer (I just use virgin organic coconut oil if anything).
And, I’ll remain using coconut oil.
While this product smelled good, it didn’t really do anything for me as far as moisturizing aspects.
As far as the minimize fine lines and wrinkles, promote skin suppleness and assist in skin rejuvenation aspect, I didn’t see any difference after 2+ weeks of using it.
Overall, I’m not overly thrilled with the products but I could just be picker than others or used to not using anything…
If you give any of River Veda products a try and feel differently than I do, let me know.

i think its awesome you don’t only write a review if its a positive review. there are many people out there who wouldn’t ever dare say bad about anything (even if in the classy way you have)

I found River Veda a couple of months ago and really love their stuff. Living in the North East I haven’t had any issues with mine oozing, but that could just be the climate. It seems to be freezing here 80% of the year!
I was an avid Dr Hauschka fan but have now introduced River Veda to my daily face regime and couldn’t be happier.
