Thank you Lillian for the opportunity to review 6 flavors of Chick Pz from Nutty Bean Co.
I’ve had roasted chickpeas before but never this good!
These are yummy straight out of the bag as a snack.
I’ve also added to my salads and this concoction of brown rice, salsa, natural tortilla chips I made too.
Your imagination is the limit on how you can enjoy these natural healthy snacks.
A bit about Nutty Bean Co. first.
The inspiration for ChickPz TM came from a passion to find a healthy snack that was all natural and tasted really good. We discovered roasted chickpeas, and soon learned how popular they are as a snack from the Mediterranean to the Middle East to India and Latin America. However what we mostly found was lightly salted, plain, and highly sugared varieties. None of which interested us. We started developing our own healthier and flavorful versions of what we found.
We learned how to roast the chickpeas to make them crispy, crunchy and delicious. Our family and friends just loved them. We perfected our unique recipes and was encouraged by everyone to share those recipes with the world. So Nutty Bean Co. was launched early in 2010. The inspiration for the name of the company Nutty Bean Co. came from the fact that roasted chickpeas, garbanzo beans, are just like nuts. They are nutty in flavor and texture and may be enjoyed as a healthy alternative to traditional nuts.
We use fresh all natural ingredients in all our recipes and every batch is hand made in small batches and prepared with love.
All of these (except the Dark Chocolate) are gluten free, soy free, dairy free and nut free.
The Dark Chocolate ones are gluten free and nut free.
The protein in an ounce ranges from 4g to 6g depending on which flavor you indulge in.
Dietary fiber ranges from 3-5g per ounce.
Chickpeas are a good source of iron, potassium, magnesium folate and essential vitamins as well.
My favorites were the Dark Chocolate (of course! anything with dark chocolate!)
These were the perfect combination of dark chocolate richness and the fresh taste of roasted chickpeas.
The Sweet & Spicy Chipotle Chick Pz are out of this world!
These have some kick to them, which I love.
Spicy warmth and sweetness all in one bite…yum!
The Honey Roasted Chick Pz are addictive.
If you can stop at just a few, more power to you…I couldn’t!
Salty and sweet goodness in every filling bite.
The Sesame Crunch Chick Pz are a wonderful crunchy duo of healthy roasted chickpeas and sesame seeds all wrapped in one snack!
If you prefer the basics and simplicity, the Sea Salt Chick Pz deliver that…
nothing but 100% natural healthy roasted chick peas and sea salt here.
And, lastly…the Pepper & Spice
which are delicious as well.
Zesty cumin and pepper make this almost hummus like.
