Today’s Wednesday.
Is it going to be a winning one or a whining one?
A winner never whines ~~ Paul Brown
We can’t complain and whine about where we’re at. We’ve got to go forward. ~~ Joe Randa
We have the option to look at today (and every other day) in whatever manner we wish.
Even when things aren’t going as we’d like them to (and trust me, we all have days like that), we can’t waste our time and energy whining.
We have to pull up our big girl panties (or boxers, briefs, whatever to the men reading!) and move on and keep moving on until we become triumphant and win.
You will never win if you never begin. ~~ Helen Rowland
Wow, that’s short and to the point! It really hit home for me.
I registered to run in a 5K in February.
I haven’t run in years until recently, yet the last month I haven’t laced up my shoes not once!
How on earth do I think I’ll win, I’ll be lucky to just survive if I don’t get out there and begin!
I have all kinds of excuses this week: opening new store front, daughter w/dental issues & high school ‘stuff’, working on new programs, working on two books and the list goes on….
but they’re excuses, nothing more…
It’s time to begin otherwise I’ll never win!
What are you going to begin today?

So glad I read your post BEFORE I went to Boot Camp this morning! I totally had your comments in my head as I was working out and I truly found myself focused on winning instead of whining! Thanks Tara…can always count on you to impart some inspiration in my day 🙂

I follow your blog and read about the whining. The thing I wan’t to quit whining about is reading my Bible and listening to what God wants me to do. So I am going to stop making excuses and start reading and listening. I know God has watched over me this past couple of months as I had major surgery. I am doing well now and I know it was because God was holding my hand. Thank you for all you do 🙂
