Once again we meet for “T” Tuesday.
Today’s focusing on the word thoughtful which means showing consideration for others; caring, mindful, considerate.
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. ~~Aesop
You can be thoughtful towards people (not always so easy), animals, the environment, yourself….
You’ll find some quick tips here on how you can be thoughtful in different areas of your life.
A side note, when you’re doing something considerate for others your attitude also plays into this.
You may do something thoughtful for someone that you really do not want to do but, you know it’s the right thing to do…
yet if you do it with an attitude then that voids out the thoughtfulness factor.
Trust me, I know this first hand…I find myself helping others that I’d really rather not and yet do because I know it’s what I’m supposed to do, yet I then complain about it or regret doing it…and that’s not how we’re supposed to do things…should do them with a cheerful happy attitude (again, not so easy).
Be kind to one another…
Ephesians 4:32
Other People
Lend a helping hand…
If you see someone in need, help them (be it financially or your time–if someone needs a ride, something picked up, etc.).
Volunteer where there is a need (church, senior center, etc.).
Say something nice to someone, compliment them…you may never know how much that will help them get through the day.
Smile at someone.
Send a greeting card.
Pick up the phone & call someone just to say hi.
A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.
Margaret Mead
Yourself

Make time to do something for yourself daily.
Be positive, do not hold onto resentment.
Environment

Make changes in your life to live a greener lifestyle.
Animals

Are you thoughtful?
What could you do to be more so?
