Today’s Tuesday and like I had mentioned previously every Tuesday I’m going to do a different word starting with the letter T.
Temporary is the theme for today.
Not permanent, passing are definitions of temporary.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV
So, right now if you’re dealing with financial hardships (I know I am), health issues, weight issues, relationship issues, children issues or anything else…
know this, it’s temporary!
I know that it’s difficult (trust me, do I know) but we have to find reassurance and strength in recognizing that we are hitting a temporary bump in the road and will get past this.
Financial situations will improve, health issues can be healed, weight can be lost (or gained), people do love and care about you, children–well children will be children-but they’ll eventually appreciate you ๐
Whatever you are dealing with right now will pass, just keep on keeping on knowing the situation will be behind you.
Here are some quick tips to help you get through the hard times:
- Keep the faith.
- Don’t look at the immediate situation(s)-we don’t know what’s ahead but it’s better!
- Remember that this too shall pass.
- Surround yourself with positive and supportive people.
- Know that you’re not alone, you haven’t been singled out to go through the hard times (everyone does at some point in time).
- Be grateful…yes, I know it’s difficult to be thankful when you’re going through
hellhard times. But, if you think about this-there will always be someone who has it worse than you. Express gratitude for what you do have in your life-there is undoubtedly something to be thankful for in each day. Recognize it and be grateful! - Do something for someone else-helping others is always a great way to lift your spirits, make a difference for someone else and the sowing and reaping factor can come into play here too.
He conquers who endures. ~Persius
Find comfort and embrace the knowledge that where you are right now is just a temporary place.
Keep carrying on so you can and will prevail.
What are you going through right now?
Comment and I’ll keep you in prayer and in my thoughts.

This is such an important message. Now that I’m older (43) I have so much more perspective — both from what I’ve been through myself and from what others I know have been through. You may be crying now, but joy will come in the morning (even if that morning takes a while in coming).

I’m 43 as well ๐
Joy always can come in the morning…and yep sometimes the morning takes awhile…but it does come!
