I Quit!
Quit means to stop, cease, or discontinue.
Usually you don’t hear people saying that they’re going to quit.
(Unless they’re talking about smoking, drinking, a job they hate or possibly quit eating junk….but how long do they really quit?)
Normally, you’re not supposed to be a quitter.
It’s always too early to quit.
Norman Vincent Peale
Sorry Norm, but you’re wrong!
There is a time to quit!
The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.
~Walt Disney
We should all quit:
being negative (try being positive and focused)
being lazy (get up and move around, you’ll feel better)
eating food we know is bad for us
doing things that cause harm to ourselves and/or others
being too critical of ourselves and others
being judgmental
stressing and worrying (it’s not going to improve anything)
listening to the little voices saying we can’t do something (you can do it! I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 )
settling for less
being selfish (help someone else, in the process you help yourself)
being rude
being wasteful
What will you quit?

I’m quitting worrying about things I have no control over!
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life–whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear.
Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?”
Matthew 6:25

Thanks Tara for the thoughts. I am going to work on QUITTING being so negative. I doubt my abilities which keeps me from doing things I want to do. So, I’m going to QUIT.

I prefer the words “let go” but yeah, I guess, “quit” means the same thing….

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Tara! You are so speaking my message!! There is ALWAYS a time and place for quitting, and I believe the well-known quote, “Winners never quit and Quitters never win,” is a dangerous thing for people to believe. It creates some unhappy, unhealthy, stressed out adults! Sometimes you even have to QUIT something good to move on to something better…something more in line with your purpose and passion. I always say, “It’s ok to QUIT, but never, never, never give up!” Along your path in life, there will be times to tweak, re-invent, and YES…even QUIT…but never give up on your VISION and your dream for your life! QUITTING negative behaviors is also SO necessary as you open yourself up to your purpose. So, as you can see…I am passionate about this blog post. I teach leadership from a QUITTING perspective am passionate about developing the next generation of leaders! GO TARA!! I love that you’re spreading this message!

Exactly Casey…to time to tweak, re-invent…I’m constantly doing that
Constantly evolving, always changing, quitting what isn’t “me” anymore and moving on…
