This HEAT is a curveball for me! I was finally getting back into running for fun, looking forward to the mild spring weather, and now I’ve got choices to make. I’m letting myself be inspired by others. If hundreds could run yesterday’s marathon in Boston, I can do a measley 4 or 5 miles in the heat today.
Agreed that in LIFE curveballs, people are the best form of support. Especially when they’re more removed from a situation than you are, they can offer a new perspective on how to work with an unfortunate or surprising situation.

Love this!! It doesn’t help to stress over something you can’t control, but that doesn’t mean we don’t try. ๐

I find that curveballs are often life’s way of telling us it’s time to do something different. This week’s ‘flu curveball’ forced me to slow down and hang out at home with my kids. It also reminded me that I can’t always go, go, go, putting everybody else’s needs before my own!
I try to gain perspective – My gut reaction is to react immediately, so I’m trying to step back and give things some time so I can react how I want to!

It feels like the last six months have been a constant curveball. Trying to remind myself that it is all in my mind.
