2.to hold in check; curb: to control a horse; to control one’s emotions.
We control (or at least attempt to)
finances
cravings
what we eat
our weight
exercising
temper
On the flip side, sadly some people are controlled by:
other people
cravings
bad habits
addictions
circumstances
A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps

As much as we may want to be in control, often times we aren’t so learn to let go of the things you can’t control while controlling your reaction to those circumstances, and when it comes to drugs, you may not even know why you react the way you do, that’s why is important to find the real reason behind it, with a dual diagnosis treatment that can help you overcome the problem in a simpler way.
