Another post with some questions for you to ponder…
Do you automatically assume things about people or make quick judgments (BTW did you know you can spell that with or without an e after the g and be correct!) about them?
Do you really know someone based on what they show on the outside?
Did you ever think that even though people are smiling & positive that they could be hurting on the inside?
Do you ever think that people could have jobs that they don’t mention for fear of being judged?
Do you realize many suffer from eating disorders and yet hide it so well you probably don’t notice unless you really pay attention?

Do you know that people are more than what they allow you to see?

Do you see the positive in life? or always the negative?
Question of the day
Do make assumptions or judgements about people before you know the real deal?
What are you going to choose to see today?

Lovin’ these quotes! Great picture of you too! Don’t make assumptions until you know the real story.

Great post (and great pic of you, btw!) It’s so easy to jump to a conclusion about someone but you are so right. We NEVER know what’s going on inside unless someone wants to share it. Never assume!

Tara, Excellent question to ponder because there is a big difference between just seeing with the eyes and seeing with the heart. In the rush of life we (I) often only see what is directly in front of use and fail to let our hearts engage so we see beyond. When those moments happen, we need to evaluate where our life is out of balance and make an adjustment. We should not allow those moments to effect our attitude – attitude is the one thing no one can take from you.
Again, thanks for the challenging questions.

Wow, great pic. I totally agree, and hope that those who have lots that’s hidden will find friends they trust enough to share that part. If we keep it all inside, we are hiding a side of ourselves. Before judging, ask yourself this question, “What could be motivating this person?” It’s a great question because it helps increase understanding and compassion. Great quotes & graphics.

I always love your quotes. I’ve absolutely judged someone by “the cover of the book” before. I think everyone has at least once in their lifetime. But, I’ve been through some serious crap in my day. I’ve been judged by people who know nothing about my life, so now I’ve grown to not be such a jerk. You never know what someone is going through, what theyre like, and who they truly are until you take the time to know them

Love the quotes! And you are so right! I went to a conference once that talked about women putting on their “false selfs.” We portray what we want people to see when really there’s so much more to us. Awesome post!!!
