Q: What is hypnosis?
A: Hypnosis is not a Zen-like trance in which you are in some sort of metaphysical state. Nor can I make you do something that goes against your morals or would cause harm. Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of mind. You may go in and out of hypnosis throughout your day. If you have ever been driving along and all of a sudden without realizing it you were almost at your destination – that would be one example of the state of hypnosis. Anytime you are fully engrossed in a movie that is also a state of hypnosis.
Q: How does hypnosis work?
A: Hypnosis is easy, safe. It is effective and provides lasting results. By moving you from a wide awake state to a more relaxed state of consciousness, properly worded suggestions are then easily accepted on the subconscious level. These suggestions then carry over into your daily life.
Q: Can we work on more than one issue at a time?
A: While you may have more than one area that you’d like to work in or more than one thing you’d like to accomplish, lets work on one thing at a time. On average we allow three weeks to change a single habit. I want you to ease into the change, so let’s overcome one thing and then move on to the next.
Q: What does it feel like to be hypnotized?
A: During hypnosis you can have a feeling of complete mental and physical relaxation. Some people can experience very deep levels of hypnosis. You may come up after the hypnosis session feeling as if you were asleep and might not remember the all or part of the session but that’s fine because the subconscious remembers. Hypnosis is highly effective all levels. Most people can hear, remember, and experience things that are going on around them.
Q: Can I be hypnotized if I’m not local to you?
A: Yes, I can personalize a session for you and you can listen to it via mp3 or cd and reap the same benefits as if you were in a one on one session with me. Or you can also purchase one of the pre-made sessions to listen to in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
Q: If I’m already on a diet will I benefit with hypnosis?
