Studies have shown that one of the most common reactions to stress is compulsive eating.
When you’re feeling stressed, worried, anxious do you grab something to eat?
This isn’t the healthiest way to deal with your feelings of stress.
Instead, during temporary weakness and desire to eat compulsively, try picking up the phone and talking to a friend, take the dog for a walk, drink a glass of water or juice.
Doing something other than compulsive eating will be the healthier way to deal with the situation.
