I received all kinds of goodies from OrganixSouth.com (located in none other than my state of Florida!) to review.
A bit about Organix South, Organix-South, the world’s leading manufacturer of certified-organic Neem products, is a rapidly growing natural products division of Nutraceutical Corporation, located in rural central Florida. We are a young and idealistic group of individuals who believe that the details matter and that the journey is half the fun. We are committed to promoting organic, fairly traded and ethically wild-crafted herbal dietary supplements and protective body care products. Our mission is to create wholesome and natural products while taking care of the planet.
Out of everything I reviewed, I liked the Tanamu body butter the best.
Native to tropical Southeast Asia, Tamanu Oil (cold-pressed from the seeds of the Tamanu tree) has been used for thousands of years as a therapeutic treatment for balancing the skin.
It was scent free (which is huge plus for me since I’m sensitive to smells). It was nourishing too.
I also like the Sea Buckthorn Cleansing Bar.
Sea Buckthorn Cleansing Bar offers a concentrated plant-based formula to protect, repair and moisturize face and body. Hand crafted in small batches and contains only the finest quality organic, wild-crafted ingredients.
Being outside a lot (and getting older) this bar was ideal for me.
Organix-South introduces Naked Organix, an innovative new line of 5 concentrated, plant-based face and body butters with 5 matching soaps which create a luxurious and nurturing experience for the body by slowing the signs of aging while encouraging beautiful, radiant and healthy skin for all ages.
Each handcrafted butter/soap combo highlights a different exotic and therapeutic botanical ingredient protects, repairs and moisturizes the skin.
Naked Organix products contain Tamanu, Sea Buckthorn, Neem, Argan and Kukui– only the finest quality organic, wild-crafted and sustainably-harvested ingredients are used.
They’re also scent-free, gluten-free, soy-free, phthalate-free and made without synthetic ingredients or chemicals.
They also carry a full line of TheraNeem products, and TheraVeda items too.
And, of course I have to mention the green and humanitarian aspects of this company.
They’re the nation’s first solar powered soap manufacturing facility.
Autumn Blum (founder of Organix-South) also has seven dogs she rescued from local animal shelters.
She also pays 10% above market price to the farmers who organically grow or ethically wild-craft herbs purchased in India. Organix works with other family farmers in India convert to organic agriculture by contributing for their certification.
Organix South was also one of the nation’s first major manufacturers to require vendors meet requirements for ethical harvesting practices.
In addition to everything going on in India, the local Bowling Green, FL area is a priority as well.
They work at reducing their carbon footprint and protecting the environment by using only environmentally sensitive packaging and shipping.
They also helped restart the area’s recycling program after the four major hurricanes that hit us in 2004 (yea I remember that year…not one easily forgotten here).
There is also an organic garden at the Florida plant that helps offset the cost of food and provides locally grown foods.
Organix recycles more than 1600 pounds of materials a month!
In short…products are AWESOME, the company conducts business in a professional way and helps the environment and others.
All great to me!
