I had the blues because I had no shoes until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet. ~Ancient Persian Saying
When you think things are too much for you to deal with, realize there are others who are worse off than you are and be grateful for what you have.
Helping others is an excellent way to relieve stress, not to mention beneficial to you and the person you’re helping.
Be it, helping a neighbor with something around the house….spending time with an elderly person, listening to a friend, teaching or mentoring a child, giving to a charity….do something to help others.
You will feel better, you’ll be more open to handle your own stressful situation and you’ll have made a difference in someone’s life as well as your own.
Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap.
For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. ~ Luke 6:38
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
~ Hebrews 13:16
