Coulda Woulda Shoulda is a form of second-guessing or regret.
According to Urban Dictionary, one definition: Meaning that it is of no use to dwell on what should have (shoulda), could have (coulda) or would have (woulda) happened/been done.
Said as an attempt to shorten a discussion that focuses on the past, thus providing no solution to an actual problem.
“The saddest summary of life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have.”
~Unknown
“Shoulda, coulda, woulda. It’s so easy in the past tense. ”
― Sarah Dessen, The Truth about Forever
Or, do we agree more with Pat Riley, coach who said
“There’s no such thing as coulda, shoulda, or woulda. If you shoulda and coulda, you woulda done it.”
Which leads to my question of the day:
Would you do anything differently in your life or are you content/happy where you are?
