Today’s theme is To-Do
Do you use a To-Do list?
Or do you randomly go about the day with all the tasks you need to do running in your head, hoping you remember to do them all?
I occasionally write a to-do list.
I know when I do, I usually achieve more than when I don’t!
The to-do list can include everything from working out, running, going to the post office, making a phone call, etc.
Your to-do list should fit your personality and need….it can be easy & simple or complex.
You can simply write down all of the things you need to finish in any order, or put in order of importance, whatever works for YOU!
It’s your list, your tasks at hand…once you get the list made, get to it!
Advantages of using a To-Do List
-you won’t forget what you need to do (unless of course you lose the list or forget to keep it with you!)
-sets priorities-you can see the tasks before you and make a schedule or order of precedence
-helps coordinate your day-putting tasks in same areas/locations together to alleviate wasted time, running around
-you can track your progress through the day to see how much you really get accomplished (this works great too by making a to do list of training/working out–you can do it weekly and see how far, fast, hard you ran, walked, worked out, etc.)
-decreases stress
-gives you a feeling of accomplishment (and perhaps even an endorphin rush) when you mark off all the items on your list
-you can pace yourself through the day
-if you don’t complete everything on the list for today, then you can carry it over to tomorrow’s list
