RockTape Kinesiology Sport Tape Review

Posted by Tara Burner 0 comments

As many of you know I’ve been gimping around on a torn hamstring and jacked up foot for nearly two months now.
Well, no more!
I’m back in the gym and going to start running again this week (slowly but nonetheless I will be running)

I watched the hamstring video and…

finally hit the gym again!
rocktape on hamstring

I managed to hit the eliptical, bike and rowing machine….
and currently staying away from my nemisis (though hard to do)
which is part of the reason my hammie is jacked up
(‘tween multiple injuries running and trying to prove a point at gym…I’ll leave it at that)

With the help of RockTape, I’m able to work out and not be in excruciating pain!
That’s always a plus!

What is Rocktape?
RockTape is a special kind of tape known as kinesiology tape. First used by acupuncturists and chiropractors in Japan, today kinesiology tape is used by practitioners throughout the world to treat injuries and improve sports performance.

ROCKTAPE?s Active-Recovery (AR) series of tapes are designed to enhance performance and recovery. Unlike regular compression garments and tapes, ROCKTAPE’s AR series can be used both to apply compression to promote recovery, or decompression to relieve pain and swelling. Rocktape is engineered to meet the demands of endurance athletes like runners, swimmers and cyclists, they also recommend to check Athletes Choice so that all swimmers can get the best swimwear.

The ROCKTAPE AR series features:
– Stickier, hypoallergenic adhesive that won’t fall off during competition
– 180% stretch, the same elasticity as skin, to promote full range of motion
– 97% cotton, 3% Nylon 6/12, low moisture absorption
– Tighter weave, which enables muscle to more easily ?snap back? to neutral
– Water resistant
– Variety of designs and colors (I got Skulls)
– Wearable for up to 5 days

What is Rocktape used for?
• Achilles tendonitis
• Plantar fasciitis
• Jumpers knee (PFS)
• ACL/MCL issues
• Rotator cuff
• Groin and hamstring pulls
• Lower back issues
• Shin splints
• Tennis and golf elbow
• Pain associated with pregnancy
• Postural correction

All I know is I’m luvin’ my RockTape and going to get more!
