This past weekend was the Pembroke Pines Arts & Crafts Festival in West Pembroke Pines.
My daughter and I went on Sunday and had an excellent time.
The weather was ideal and lots to see (and buy).

Now, those who know me…know I do not just spend money. But, here at the arts & crafts show is a totally different story!

We bought 2 air plant displays…their site is http://airplantfountains.com/, and the had some pretty cool fountains too.
The air plant displays are going to be worked into my patio garden

Then we moved on and got a cooper flower that has a dragonfly on it and holds a gazing ball.
I have to make a stand for it, thus no picture yet on that one.
Was handmade from a guy from MN.

Then we went for some really cool paper art from a local art teacher (and props to her, first art teacher here in South Florida that I’ve known that actually has skills and uniqueness). Her site is http://tiartgallery.com/gallery/
We got both these pieces for daughters room:

and lastly, we stopped by a booth owned by http://www.2hipchicks4peace.com/ where daughter is special ordering a peace of art (get it! peace for peace sign ok sorry for the pun) of artwork featuring a peace sign on a splatter background.

So, we got some really neat unique hand made items and enjoyed a day out in the gorgeous weather.
