Q: Have you always lived a healthy fit lifestyle?
A: I have always tried to watch what I eat, however, as I gained more knowledge, I learned my choices weren’t as good as I thought. I used to eat a lot of fat-free foods thinking “no fat no gain” – but that isn’t true. A few years ago I joined an online figure coaching community and learned I knew very little about really eating “clean” – it changed my life. I learned so much about nutrition that it inspired me to go back to school. I am studying to obtain a degree in Nutrition.
Q: What keeps you going, motivated?
A: My mother and her sister have both had breast cancer, my grandfather died of heart disease, and there are several other cancers in my family; this keeps me motivated to stay healthy. I believe the correct foods, exercise, and a positive attitude can help prevent a lot of diseases.
Q: What is your favorite workout?
A: I love working my shoulders.
Q: What are some of your goals?
A: To become a registered dietitian so that I can help others learn how to take care of their bodies.
Q: What are some of your accomplishments or things you’re proud of?
A: So far, I have maintained an A average in school, I actually found the nerve to start my blog, Bliss.com asked me to be a contributor, and I “believe” (hope?) that I inspire others to be the healthiest they can be.
Q: What is one random fact we should know about you?
A: That I love coffee, black, hot, fresh.
Q: What words of advice would you like to leave the readers?
A: Never believe that you “can’t” do something. You will amaze yourself at what you are actually capable of doing.
