Fitness Friday-Excuse Proof Your Workout

I’m sure you (just like myself) have come up with excuses to not workout.
Well here are some quick tips to excuse proof your workout!

-Do your workout first thing in morning–get up early (yes I’m telling you to get up 30 mins earlier than normal! I know…I know…but it’s worth it!) If you do your exercising first thing in the morning there can’t be any excuses (and no, I don’t want to hear the excuse you’re not a morning person, you need your sleep, etc. etc.)

-Make a list of the positive benefits when you workout (feel better, more energy, less stress, lose weight, happier, stronger)


-Don’t have an all or nothing mentality- doing something is better than doing nothing! Aim to do at least even 10 minutes of some type of activity, most likely you’ll go beyond the 10 minutes.

-Get started-don’t put it off-make your health a priority.

Love this, Since I can’t do it alone, I enlisted the kids, and the 6 yo, keeps me on track, “do this now mommy”, “give me 20 more”, “try this I do it in football” And even though I’m not doing an hour or more at one time, he makes me do a few minutes MANY times a day. Thank you for all you post, it helps!
