If you haven’t done so yet, you have to drop by LiveGreenRewards.com
They’re still in beta mode but looks like a promising place to be.

Used from their LiveGreenRewards.com site is their info about who they are/what they do. After you read this, you’ll want to sign up for their shopping and their forum (if you join the forum, drop me a line, I’m there “taraburner” and Affordable Mineral Makeup™ is in process of getting to be one of the shops you can shop with too!)

LiveGreenRewards About Us:

We believe that the natural environment should not be carelessly wasted. There needs to be a concerted effort to protect our natural surroundings. A large part of this effort is done by way of Eco-based charitable organizations who need financial support to continue their work.

In 2008 five friends decided to put their heads together to make a difference, by creating a convenient way for people to support Eco-charities. You may want to support a charity, but are financially unable to make a contribution. We have provided a tool that (by simply making ordinary online purchases) helps the Eco-charity of your choice.

The LiveGreenRewards.com Company Promise:

  1. We will donate 51% of company profits to the charities you choose.
  2. We aim to be a ZERO footprint company. We are paperless when possible and use only 100% post-consumer recycled paper products. We continue to review our objectives and targets for achieving our ZERO footprint goals.
  3. We take responsibility for the environmental impacts of our company.
  4. We recycle computer equipment when possible. When equipment cannot be recycled, responsible disposal practices are observed.
  5. All LiveGreenRewards.com meetings are conducted via web-based video teleconferencing.

Did you know?… For every ton of paper that is recycled, we save:

  • 7,000 gallons of water.
  • 380 gallons of oil.
  • Enough electricity to power an average house for six months.

More facts:

  • 8 out of 10 plastic water bottles used in the United States become garbage or end up in landfills.
  • The production of water bottles in the United States alone requires more than 1.5 million barrels of oil annually.
  • Telecommuters save millions in fuel costs and prevent 1.76 billion lbs. of carbon dioxide emissions every single day.
