Today our youth group along with some adult volunteers went to feed some homeless people in downtown Fort Lauderdale. We had given out lunches before but this was a new experience...breakfast and clothing donations. It was an awesome experience for the youth group and all involved. There were many stories as the teens sat with the homeless, talked with them, prayed with them … [Read more...] about Blessings from youth group out reach

Respecting people’s time
What is it with people who don't respect other people's time? I mean time is precious...you can't save it, you can't use it later, you can't give it, you can't put a hold on it. You simply live in the now, in that moment, right then. If you make plans or have obligations at a certain time, then be on time. Others make their plans based on you being on time.... be it … [Read more...] about Respecting people’s time

I was going through saved emails and noticed the order confirmation stated I'd receive actual tickets in the mail 3-4 weeks in advance of the event. Wow, that's like NOW! So, I emailed them a few days ago regarding status...geee … [Read more...] about Return to sender phone call

Today after TMobile toyed with my emotions by sending me a letter saying I could get a Samsung Gravity phone for free then once in store found out that no...I'd have to either pay $135 or wait until November, I got to thinking. Thinking about the cost of convenience...the price tag we'll hang on convenience and saving time, making things easier. As far as TMobile goes...the … [Read more...] about The cost of convenience
